All facilities are only accessible by stairs, no ramp or elevator
Career development programme is inaccessible to those on disability benefit systems: Overgaden offers an intro programme for newly graduated visual artists, due to the physical inaccessiblity of the local fine arts school, my inability to travel to a more accessible school, and the legal restrictions of my disability social benefits, I also cannot access important resources for my career like this.
Exhibiting opportunities are inaccessible to those on disability benefit systems: They also offer an open call for exhibiting which would require outside funding to be applied for and the legal ability to receive payments for the work. My disability social benefits only allow me to work under contract, this requirement cuts me off from important opportunities like open calls as almost all opportunities for artists are offered solely through freelance.
Lack of online alternatives to conferences and events: Providing an alternative to in person events, such as special exhibition materials, online guided tours, social events etc.. would allow me to get a real benefit from this public institution when I am in too much pain or do not have the ability to leave my home.
